Tengger Ethnic

The Tengger ethnic is an native ethnic who inhabbit the region of Bromo mount and Bromo tengger Semeru natioal park, East java.
Tengger society since the beginning of a devout Hindu and a bit different to the one in Bali.
Tengger hiindus are old and not as hindu's generally have a temple or shrine as a places of worship.
until now they believe as a direct descendant of the follower of the majapahit kingdom.
Tengger ethnic in Bromo mount routinely hold some ceremonies and the bigest is the feast or Yadnya Kasada Kasodo ceremony.
When the selebration of bromo mount tengger ethnic is not only visited by people from all over the hindu people of tengger bromo, tengger semeru national park, but the hindu people of Bali who feel they are descendants of the kingdom of Majapahit.
not only that, the ceremony took place, pura luhur poten Bromo is located between Batok mount and Bromo mount will be visited by many tourist from different countries and accross the countries.
Besides Yadnya Kasada ceremony, there is also the feast of Karo and Unan-Unan.
Asociated with the ltle cycle of Tengger ethnic rituals also hold that at birth (Walagara ceremony), death ( Entas-Entas, and others), related to the agricultural cycle ceremonies, set up house, and also related to the existence of natural phenomena such as Leliwet and Barikan.
