Lawang Sewu is a building in Semarang, Central Java, which is the office of the Nederlands-Indische Maatschappij or NIS Spoorweg. Built in 1904 and completed in 1907.
Located at the traffic circle Tugu Muda formerly called Wilhelminaplein.
Lawang sewu in English language can say with one thousand door why that place have name lawang sewu, because the building have many door.
That building estate from Holland and the function of the building as tour place now, before as a tour place lawang sewu are use as resistant place and office centre.
