Javanese Ethnic
Based of the history, Javanese ethnic begins with the arrival of a knight named Ajisaka Pinandita.
He is person who wrote the poem, where the poem is now referred to as java alphabet letters today. Therefore, the origin of the poem is used as saka lunar calendar.
The definition of saka lunar calendar is a native javanese java central and eastern parts, except the island of madura.
In addition, those using the java language to communicate in daily life are also included in javanese, althought not directly derived from the island of java.
The origin of the javanese is also related to the language used, the java language.
Officially, there are two types of the java language is ngoko java languages and kromo java languages.
Ngoko java languages is java languages used by people who are already familiar, people people of the same age and one person to another lower social status.
kromo java language is used to people who are unfamiliar, from the young to the elderly or people with higher social status. kromo languages is consist of kromo madya and kromo inggil, and kromo madya used as a lingua franca is mor polite than the language ngoko. kromo inggil also use to people who are older or have a position and social status is much higher than the talking in the java community there is classificitaion class. the classification is include
1. the santri
this group are those who converted to islam and the religion of islam asa a way of life.
2. the abangan
abangan are those who still hold to the tradition of javanese, though they embrace different religions. this class is often called kejawen.
3. the priyayi
priyayi's those who work as a clerks or scholars. they generally work for the government or private with a higher social status than the average person.
